Touring
Spent 10 days touring round Dingle Peninsula and the ring of Kerry in 2003. The visit to Dingle was part of my “Ryan’s Daughter” mission. Since I first saw the film I’d wanted to visit the places where it was made and I found many of them including the remains of the school house which was built especially for the film. Inch Beach on the road to Dingle is beautiful and also another location for the film.
If you like good coast lines, lakes and mountains then the ring of Kerry is great although it’s a bit touristy.
We are planning another visit to Ireland in 2005. |
