Walking in the Lake District has been a holiday destination for nearly 20 years. Favourite walks include:

• Coniston Old Man following the traditional round which takes you back down to Coniston over Wherethlam or an alternative way back to the car park at the bottom of the Old Man via Dow Crag.
• Fairfield Horseshoe – either way round
• Low level walk around Buttermere lake.
• Walk one side of the lake after walking the Buttermere fells, include Haystacks if you are feeling really energetic.
• Hellvellyn via Striding Edge and down via Sticks Pass into Glenridding
• The Coledale Round up via Causey Pike and down via Grisedale Pike.
